Review on 🧴 Tsukineko 1/2 Fluid Ounce Empty All Purpose Ink Bottle with Cap: Convenient and Versatile Container by Amber Perez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very thin walls, cheap construction

Cheaply made but functional. I have to say I was very apprehensive about carrying this with me, so I have it on my desk in case I forget to color my fountain pen before I go to work. It's too flexible and I worry about putting it in a laptop bag a little hard and landing on the ink bottle, crushing it so it splashes through the cap, or even wearing pants that are too tight! However, it's unobtrusive, so you'll hardly notice it in your pocket. (That may be part of the problem). I only use it when I keep it in my jacket or in a (closed) shirt pocket. Both are bulkier, but personally I don't trust the design of this bottle enough. (A 1 ounce bottle of Nalgen would have been better sized, but 2 ounces is half the price or even less for some reason - mine was $1.50 and the main addition. I'm cheap and this bottle is very strong. ) I've seen some hyped prices for it. I paid $5 sold by Revain. YYMV. If you're looking for a *real* ink bottle, just buy an empty ink bottle from Goulet Pens. I've seen them there for less than a dollar, although you have to pay shipping. Shop other items while you're there to save on shipping if you like the highest quality fountain pens and paper. ;-) I just bought a *very* nice empty 50ml Iroshizuku inkwell there for a few bucks to use as an inkwell. Check it out here on Revain and you'll see what I mean.

Cons
