The lid is of solid construction, the bottle closes tightly. The side wall of the container bends a lot, I'm afraid of a possible hole or leakage. I bought this small inkwell so I wouldn't have to carry a big inkwell everywhere and it's perfect for that purpose. I've filled it up, used it a few times and it's holding up well. It stays at the bottom of my bag and I've had no issues with it leaking or being crushed, even with laptops and other heavy items hitting it throughout the day.

For heaven's sake, it's just a plastic bottle. Why are you asking me to look at it? I filled it with ink. I flew with him in checked baggage. It's not a leak. It is aesthetically neutral.
