Fountain pen lovers rejoice! Don't think of them as ink bottles, think of them as tiny portable ink tanks that actually close completely! I used them to take my ink with me on camping trips so I could keep a journal without running out of ink. When it's filled to the first edge, the ink is deep enough to easily fill the pen multiple times, but narrow enough that you don't waste ink like you would if you made a glass inkwell that's deep is enough to fill the pen. I use this to hold my restless Baystate Blue because I'm afraid it will spill out of the huge bottle I have (the lid is cracked). I leave some in one of these bottles and use it as a hole for my glass pen when I want to use this ink. The depth of the bottle is PERFECT for a good dip in the J. Herbin fully see-through glass handle. Tip: I just, no lie, ordered 15 so I can have some on hand to use with dip grips without worrying about submerging (and possibly tipping over) a full-size bottle) and so I could slip a few in the compartment in my backpack-purse when I go to emergency fuel with a pen. More of this because I shared my bottled ink with a friend, which is a little more generous than offering them a filled sample bottle.
