Revain bundles this item with a sewing awl and like an idiot I didn't read carefully enough to make sure I was buying what I needed (replacement number needles). However, these needles are excellent, cheap and durable! The way I love my coffee! I sewed myself a new sewing palm and these needles are tough! Rawhide, it won't tear! Most needles break in the eye when I subject them to thoughtless insults. Some even using my fingers! I see many sails and rigs sewn with these needles both in production and repair!
