Right side up. I wish I had known sooner that my Ram didn't come with a cabin air filter.
There was no room for a cabin filter in our frame, so we had to cut out and fit a platform. I'm sure next time it will be much easier. I'm 76 years old, so flexing doesn't come as easily to me as it did when I was younger.
