This is a simple device with a simple design. . . but it works very well! I am so disgusted with yet another siphon liquid transfer pump I bought many years ago as part of a roadside emergency kit. The hoses became detached mid-surgery or were very difficult to straighten and route to the bottom of the container I was hoping to empty. I saw the Terapump's modest price and figured I had little to lose by trying it out. I'm glad I did. The Terapump's finned straight tube is easy to point straight at the bottom of the fuel tank of a lawnmower or similar fuel source, allowing the siphon to stay on until the tank is empty. I recommend this useful tool.
