Review on 🔒 Premium Front Hood Latch Lock Set with Keys for 2007-2018 Jeep JK Wrangler & Unlimited by Travis Rio

I don't write many reviews but thought I'd write about this product in case it helps someone else. I installed these latches on my JKU 2011 with no problems. Grille and both headlights removed. Although it was a little difficult and I had to twist my arm and body into a pretzel, I was able to reach out and attach the nut to the base of the latch. Use factory fitted nuts with washers for this as using the supplied locknuts and separate washers is a major problem. I used locknuts for the hood parts. On my 2011 JKU I had the tabs trimmed (slightly) and they seem to work fine without them. Pros: New closures! The bonnet doesn't rattle! The latches don't interfere when you close the hood (no big deal). They look quite large and don't "look" like they are fully closed (but they are)** WARNING: Should I take a used item? They look new but were sent to me in a fully open box. Not just any band. ZERO. None of the parts were bolted and everything (except nuts/washers) was loose. A few tiny metal washers (for lack of a better word) were floating in the box that snapped from the latches (they attach to tiny "posts" in the latch assembly, see photo), so check yours. and make sure everyone is present. There should be 4 of them. ** I will only update this review if/when I start noticing any issues with them. Otherwise they seem to be pretty big so far.
