Easiest to use but expensive

Tips after a single install:- Invest in good tools, it won't be the last thing you pack thin. I still used the heat gun, but tested both options: HEAT BEFORE wrapping the corners, pay attention to tension points, and lay the foil down to avoid over-tightening. After applying, warm up to make sure it doesn't collect or loosen with your fingers. CK completes YT. is an incredibly valuable resource to browse through. On my first order of 5x10 feet I was able to pack the roof and front grille with no problem. I did it myself and all I can say is invest in the tools. I used a cheap kit and didn't use a knifeless tape the first time. Using good tools makes this job 100% more enjoyable and gives a better result. Now that I have the bladeless tape I bought back more foil to redo the roof. My car doesn't have any roof sills to hide the seam, so the cut has to be absolutely perfect. I gave it away for free the first time. Needless to say, I'm not a surgeon, so I'll repeat it.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
