Review on 🚗 Dorman 741-348 Front Driver Side Power Window Motor and Regulator Assembly: OE FIX for Nissan / Suzuki Models by Joe Ashan

I purchased a Dorman motor and controller for my 2005 Nissan Frontier NISMO with auto lowering (driver's window). My window was very slow and sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. In the end he was on the verge of total failure. After trying to replace the driver's door control box for over $100 and it didn't work, I figured there was only one other possibility (besides a short or some other problem), and that was the motor. I was hesitant to buy thinking it might not work and I have heard that some items do not work with my particular door and auto cluster power down control (has a small "A" annotation on the window control of the driver and will automatically lower if you press and hold it for a few seconds). Well, after putting off my replacement for about a month (rainy weekend or too hot or too lazy ;-) I couldn't take it anymore that my window didn't work. So I started the process. And it worked! It worked great, fit perfectly and worked great! I saved about $500 on parts and labor! Thanks very much! To install it I googled something like "Nissan Frontier Power Window Installation" and found a step-by-step guide online for this procedure. It has made life a lot easier. I removed the door panel, removed the screws, removed the old motor/ESC, installed the new one, tested (YES!) and reassembled in 3 hours in one day. It was with over an hour lunch break and no rush. I imagine that a mechanical and determined person who knows what they are doing could do it all in 45 minutes max. GREAT! It's been over two weeks since this review was posted and the window is now working perfectly.
