Springs used inside underneath Groove to release side plate when unlatching are exposed to rail and gouge into rail damaging coating on edge of rail, and it never tightened enough to eliminate wobble on rail.BUT the clamp that holds any accessory DOES hold accessory fairly well.After seeing damages trying to seat and adjust.gave up and returned, never range tested.I do not recommend at all.
