It's a good size - big enough to hold well and small enough to store easily. It works on all my calluses, even the hard one on my toe. I mostly use the fine-grain side rather than the coarser side. It removes a little dead skin at a time for a very smooth end result. The file is easy to clean because it is made of plastic. It comes in a small, flat zip case, making it easy to keep the file clean between uses on a crowded shelf. I also have an e-file for legs that is fun and effective. But I like this low-tech file even more. It doesn't take up space on a shelf hidden behind various toiletries. It is always at hand and ready to use. And nothing can go wrong with him.
