2005 Impreza RS wagon (non-turbo) I should have heeded the warnings in the reviews - these boots are too long and the metal pins sitting inside the coil pack are for one good seat too far away. I pressed on the new plugs and the boot slowly slipped off because it wasn't part of the OEM coil pack. Immediately after the installation I had quite strong dropouts on 1 and 3 - very bad. I figured it was plugs making good contact - I just removed those wires and plugged in the nasty looking factory wires and it worked great. Trust me, I've tried playing around with the piece of metal in the trunk, making it protrude more, making it smaller, and nothing seemed to snap it into place. I even considered cutting and modifying the boot to make it work (I'm sure shaving off the front part will allow it to fit when the rubber presses against the body of the coil pack. I decided to NOT to do this and have decided to just ship them back by ordering OEM cables Look for part # SOA430Q124 If you have an '05 Subaru Impreza like me don't waste your time on this nightmare unless it is , you want to fiddle with stuff in the trunk - a potentially dangerous contact area Really upset with this kit as the gauge cables and construction seem much better than the OEM But I don't want to play with another set in Hot Son They're coming back and I ordered genuine Subaru cables for $2 off.
