Bought to use as a 'care room' for a kitten. It serves its purpose well. This keeps him confined and separate from our adult cats. It stands up well to the occasional cat climb, but that's not the most amazing thing, is it? Thing is, it didn't collapse when our 13 pound cat climbed onto it (repeatedly ignoring the words "No, NO, NO!") and lay there to look at the new kitty. The top doesn't even sag. heavy things. We like that it is very easy to fold and set up. It has a good view so we can check what's going on inside and our kitty can see outside, especially through two doors (but apparently the top view is better for cats). The floor has been tested for water resistance. (The drinker is upside down). It's made of a lighter fabric than the sides, so I put absorbent pads under the handle for reassurance as it lays flat on the carpet. The pegs supplied are of good quality and should hold up well. Our only complaints? The velcro that holds the doors open is too low on the door to roll tight enough to get out of the way. It is also sewn with a vertical stripe on the doors and a horizontal stripe on the handle. It reduces the contact area and is removed with a slight movement of the brush. On the inside of our handle, the grooved fabric on one of the panels has an open end. It's about two inches long and wears a little. I don't know if it had to be cut or attached. We have not contacted Winipet about this. I can only find a better way to protect him. It's not a problem for us but as it's 15cm off the ground it would be if we had a puppy. Things we would change for perfection: No center seam at bottom edge or at least flat. These are pain when sweeping the floor and a possible chewing hazard. Thicker backing. This can make folding difficult, but this is where the real wear and tear comes in. Two-way zip at top so it can be opened where you need it. None of this is a breach of the terms of the deal. Overall this is a well made product and we expect it to last for many, many years. I will update this when we contact Winipet regarding channelling.
