I own several binoculars but after realizing I needed the convenience of a more compact binocular I did a lot of research and testing before settling on these Steiner Safari 10x26 binoculars. My other binoculars are 6x30, 8x30 and 10x50 porro prism shaped. These are my first roof prism binoculars. They are easily adjustable, goggle-friendly and fit comfortably in the hand. I am very happy with these shaders. They offer excellent clarity at all distances I've used them for. From bird watching to attending a recent ZZ Top concert (in nosebleed seats), the smaller size means you can take them anywhere without the public fully seeing that you're a binocular freak.
