Review on Walker 40202 Exhaust Y Pipe by Christian Poojary

Bought back in May. Installed in my truck with no problems. I went ahead, installed the muffler, started my truck and it ran very rough, like it had a sudden back pressure problem. The motor is a bit old so I assumed it was just the sensors being bad or something. I changed everything I could but no improvement. Removed the Y-pipe and the truck worked fine again so I left it until I can buy another muffler. I just did this last week and cut this pipe to get 2 twin pipes and mufflers. Well when I did that I found the problem! The passenger side downpipe that connects to the driver side downpipe is completely clogged! It seems that when the manufacturer marked the spots to attach the second tube, he forgot to cut a hole in the tube to which he attached it! I'm frustrated because I missed the returns window and I don't know how to contact the supplier to resolve the issue. This could have been very bad and exploded my engine if I hadn't investigated further. But aside from the manufacturer's obvious error, the hose itself fitted perfectly and was of good quality.
