Great if you know what you are buying. We just bought this as our second set and we have another set in the Sunset colourway. These are building blocks for bigger kids or design-conscious parents, and not necessarily the best everyday building blocks for toddlers. I have an 18 month old and he loves to tape them to the fridge. They also look better scattered around my house than many other toys and take good photos. However, since it's just blocks, he's currently frustrated because he obviously doesn't understand polarity yet. For that aspect he's getting more out of basic wooden blocks at the moment, although I expect they'll grow better with him since they have that extra element to keep him interested when he gets too old for regular blocks. My father really loves to play with them. We also had an issue with the paint chipping around the edges. Toddlers are rough, but I was expecting a slightly more durable surface for the price. All in all it's still a great product, especially when you can get it on sale.
