I had a leak in the base gasket on my '98 Superglide. I had to remove the cylinders to make a base gasket so I decided to update the top with all new gaskets along with the cam and do some head work. This gasket kit had everything I needed and all materials seemed to be of good quality. It was cheaper to buy the full set than trying to buy the pads individually. It's been a year now and I haven't had any leaks or problems. I will definitely use this kit again. PS- if you want to get the job done, make sure you remove ALL the old gasket material from everything. There will be problems with the heads, especially if the seals are original. DO NOT use a roll of wire or anything that can be easily removed and will stick to the backing material. Anything rough will scratch the aluminum mating surfaces and you'll have to send them to the machine shop to fix the damage even 0000 steel wool would do (Ask me how I know that ;) Remember scratching your mating surfaces or are uneven The parts will not seal tightly and you will have leaks. Search online for the best way to clean a burned gasket. Much luck!
