Scanner never worked. I didn't open the box until the 60 days were up, but I wasn't overly concerned because I bought an extra 2 year warranty. When I opened the box, I found that I couldn't get past the initial setup screen. I go through the setup and come to a screen that says "Scanning". I click the Scan button and . Nothing. The screen is greyed out and there is no way to exit this screen or do anything other than turn off the device. When you turn it back on, it's Groundhog Day, you start the setup process over, and the same thing happens every time you click Scan. This is a scanner that cannot scan. Customer support through Neat is not available. I tried using the 2 year warranty I bought but it doesn't cover products that didn't work from day one. If it still doesn't work you should complain directly to the manufacturer, but guess what? You will never contact the manufacturer. They don't have an 800 number. That's right, it's 2015 and they have no way of calling it. When I try to send an email to support I get an error message. When I looked at the sitemap to find the customer service number, the only customer service page was the testimonials page about customer service and how great it is. The? How wonderful can it be? I can't reach it I literally had to throw away a brand new, freshly completed car - a car I paid close to $500 for. This is madness.
