Very good update: my review
I bought this new monitor to replace my old 1080p panel, the picture quality is great, the contrast is great too.
The only downside is the 1 dead pixel in the top right corner, but it's barely noticeable, and the ghosting you would expect from VA panels. But overall I am very satisfied.
