We gave up regular commercial dishwashing tablets and switched to making our own detergent. The DIY solution wasn't acceptable, so we found the seventh generation. At first we found a pile of leftovers everywhere, which initially disappointed us; then I remembered that I had to use citric acid in my laundry detergent. I added about 5 grams to a pile of plates and, vous y êtes! Clean dishes! After that, I added a few grams of citric acid to each batch and had pleasant results without it. I add detergent from time to time just to avoid residue, but I think that solved my problem. Anyone with the same unsatisfactory results might want to add some citric acid to their wash to see if it helps them as much as it did us. Maybe 10 grams, but I don't think it's necessary. Anyway, I didn't measure exactly. I just poured something into the dishwasher bowl. Much luck!
