I just spoke to the manufacturer's rep and they told me this bar has been changed! I am very sad to hear this as the bar was absolutely perfect the way it was. It tasted great and had some high saturated fats, but I put up with it. Organic palm kernel oil has been added to the new formula. That's also an extra gram of saturated fat and 2 grams less sugar. Just wanted fans of this bar to know that it's probably wise to try the bar in its new formula before buying a box or more. I hope it still tastes good, but I've seen many products that have dropped in quality over the years when reformulated. I was worried but ordered the box anyway. When it arrived yesterday I tried one and in fact they aren't as good as they used to be. The texture is drier, they are less sweet and less aromatic. The peanut butter and chocolate had a slightly artificial taste. When the bars arrived they weren't melted and were freshly made from a reformulation, so I'm guessing that's how they'll taste now. It's a real shame as it used to be a delicious bar.
