The length of the The handle and the size of the cup-shaped part of the spoon (bowl) are well-proportioned. Many other spoons of similar length do not have bowls as large. On the other hand, if the bowl part is so big, the handle will be longer. If the handle is too long, I feel like I don't have enough control over the spoon. Therefore, the proportions and the clear main lines of this spoon make it ideal for serving and normal cooking. The only suggestion I would make to the manufacturer is to make the grip a bit wider or thicker to improve handling and I don't think that would affect the optics so much that it would still be unusable. Service. My set had a slight bend or dent on the side edge of one spoon. The replacement set was sent to me promptly before I sent the defective set back. So thanks for that!
