Review on πŸ”¦ OxyLED 20 LED Motion Sensor Closet Light - Wireless Rechargeable Under Cabinet Lights - Stick-on Stairs Step Light Bar for Wardrobe and Kitchen, USB Powered - Safe and Energy Efficient Night Light by Rebecca Carey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I REALLY wanted to love it, but my goodness.

Like my other 36 LED light bars, this product is really disappointing. In fact, I am copying and pasting the same points, with the only difference being that I am describing what happened to this smaller strip versus the longer/larger strip: 1. HEAVY - how the longer/larger version of this lightbar, its block, is also surprisingly MUCH too heavy for the tape to stick to the ceiling (!) I attached it to the cupboard ceiling and for about a week there were no problems - But about day 5 when I opened the cupboard door, lo and behold lo and behold I found a crossbar on the ground (!) as well as another longer crossbar, it was strong/didn't break. But really, OxyLED, what's the point if it doesn't hang from the ceiling like it should? WEAK SENSOR. For some reason it's not stable enough to detect movement. Our apartment is in a pre-war building with 9 foot ceilings and I am a very small adult (5'10"). I wonder if these two factors are related? I have to move my arm high above my head in the direction of the sensor before it "sees" me.3. THE BATTERY IS NOT LONG-LASTING. We were shocked at how short it was (only a week!). We've found this to be particularly true in touch mode.3. SMALL SWITCH. The switch on the side is WAY tiny and difficult to move. You must have nails to move it. Unlike the longer/bigger flick, I didn't have to change it every time, but the first three bugs hit me to the core anyway.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • So-so
