WD-40 products have always been reliable, I couldn't imagine a moment in my life without having a can of WD-40 nearby. door squeaks? A few splashes and problem solved. So I thought I'd try this on my bike chain. Of course, before applying this lube, I thoroughly cleaned the chain to a metallic sheen. Then I drove 30 km. Big disappointment! At the end of the ride, my chain started squeaking and the chain attracted so much dust that it was completely black. Almost like normal WD-40. This has never happened with my other lube, at least it lasted about 300 miles before I had to clean and lube again. So this WD-40 is no longer making it into my chain. I'll probably use it like regular WD-40 to keep the doors from squeaking.
