The lamp produces a lot of pure white light. The only problem is that one of the two I bought died after less than 100 hours of use. The seller wasn't helpful because it was over a month after the sale but Westinghouse was great. I found the phone number for the lamp department. A very polite woman asked for a copy of the receipt and then emailed asking if it was a clear or frosted version. After my email reply I was told a replacement was on the way. The total response time was three business days, which is very fast for a large company. When the package arrived via FedEx Ground rather than US Post as expected, it even came with a few spares - more than I asked for.
