I don't usually leave reviews but this spike finder deserves it. At first I honestly didn't think it would work. I had a few others, one orange and one blue. Both came with a hefty price tag and a complicated long manual. When I was trying to find a nail to hang a family portrait last week, I found that both had been left with batteries installed and had rusted. I was very upset that I had to throw them away after all the money was paid. So at a reduced price, a little more than a pack of batteries, I decided to give it a try. I can only say that I am really impressed. The packaging was simple, the instructions were just reasonable hints, and I figured out where to assemble the frame in seconds. It comes with two handy magnetic markers so nothing extra is needed. Just slowly slide the viewfinder along the wall, hold it by the handle, and you'll see the round magnets jiggle. I wasn't sure if the bolt was that easy to find so I tried again at a higher spot and after a few seconds another set of magnets on the same bolt started shaking. No more dealing with rusty batteries. This is definitely a tool to have on hand. At this price I am buying one for my relatives and one for my neighbor who kept asking me for help. It's amazing, something so simple and yet so powerful.
