Silver is see through
We bought the silver film for our front window in front of the receptionist desk hoping it would encourage people to use our doorbell/camera system instead of trying to get our receptionist's attention through the door. While it does provide some privacy, it does not appear mirrored much/at all. Easy to install, just spray water to help prevent bubbles and it just uses static cling for adhesion. We might try the black in the future, but I would not buy the silver again.
