I live in Houston and just purchased a Champion 3400 dual fuel backup generator; After Hurricanes Ike and Harvey and even some severe tropical storms, we had power outages for up to a week. I love my new generator, but Champion dedicates one of the outlets that provides half the power to the RV's direct connection. That's all well and good, but I don't have an RV and want to take full advantage of my generator's power. Microwave or whatever else I need. Heck, the color even matches my generator! It's a big, hard piece of hard rubber that didn't even get hot (I tested it) when I used my 12 amp, 1440 watt electric lawn mower to mow the garden. up to 15 amps, but everyone has it. Either way, the Camco PowerGrip Adaper is a big fat five star engine!
