Comfortable but not recommended for wide feet. My right foot is wider than my left so I can really feel the difference. I'm sure it will loosen up and fit well over the coming months. People notice a thick tongue, and it's quite spongy. You need to loosen the laces to relieve the pressure they put on the top of the foot. This makes the shoe look bigger. In short, they won't look like flimsy canvas shoes. It will have some density. Overall a great shoe, doesn't make my feet sweat (which I was afraid to see given their thickness).
