I only wore Vans my whole childhood and around my freshman year of high school I switched to DVS. . I have to say I forgot how incredibly comfortable these vans are. It's like walking around in slippers all day. And I have a strong feeling they will last a lot longer than my regular DVSs (about 1 year before they start falling apart). Bought these for restaurant work. They are NOT non-slip. But they are comfortable. The top is a bit thin and the tongue is about 2 inches thick. But overall I'm satisfied. They are machine washable and that is a big part of why I bought them.

Comfortable but not recommended for wide feet. My right foot is wider than my left so I can really feel the difference. I'm sure it will loosen up and fit well over the coming months. People notice a thick tongue, and it's quite spongy. You need to loosen the laces to relieve the pressure they put on the top of the foot. This makes the shoe look bigger. These are the worst shoes I have ever bought. Bought it for my husband and he hates it. Shoes are wide in the wrong places, they look horrible and they fit horribly. I don't know where they even did it. This shoe is poorly made. As you can see from the photos, this shoe is so wide that it looks nothing like the advertised images. Elevate your shoes to make it fit. They are very ugly and very disappointing. WE RETURN. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY
