I have 6 Philips Hue light strips and controllers. Plus *lots* of extension cords. I've bought quite a few different LED strips and Philips Hue is by far the best. But connecting them the way Philips intended would be very impractical, resulting in a lot of wasted ribbons and buying too many controllers. come the licensors. The wired direct-to-controller adapter allowed me to quickly and easily install the splitter in place. (Litcessory splitters and extenders are great too.) They allow me to maximize my investment in Philips Hue strips and controllers without breaking the bank. Yes, for a wired adapter you need to cut the cable coming out of the controller, strip the wires and plug them into the Litcessory connectors. And yes, it sounds scary as hell. And yes, your heart will stop beating the first time you cut a wire. But it's not difficult. If you've never cut or stripped wire, do it very slowly and steadily. And be careful when connecting the wires to the Litcessory connectors. I gave birth to 6 of these puppies with no problems. Thank you Litcessory for making Philips Hue even better!
