I bought this face trimmer for the first time in 2011. It still works great. I bought a few more because I was afraid they would discontinue it and I wouldn't have a replacement if it broke! Neither of those things happen, so right now I have one with a large soft blade and one with a small blade so I don't have to switch blades if I want to switch. What I liked: 1. It cuts both "fluff" and thicker hair well.2. It's very discreet. It looks like a feather. I'm attaching some photos of the trimmer next to the handle so you can see for yourself.3. It's easy to control. By this I mean that the profile of the tip is small and you can treat very small areas, for example between the eyebrows.4. I use a AAA battery in it. I used it for a few weeks before writing this review and the battery still works. The battery is very easy to replace, the battery cover slides easily.6. The package includes additional nozzles (allow you to trim your eyebrows, i.e. leave hairs of a certain length)7. The kit includes a small brush for cleaning the head (it's meant to clean it dry, not wet) 8. The product looks solid, well designed and well made. Ordering Replacement Blades: The fine hair blade (the long one that comes with the trimmer) is part number WES2113P3708. The replacement blade costs $6.64 plus shipping if you buy it directly from the Panasonic website. You can find them by searching for the part number. I've found that other sellers are selling fillers for almost the same price as a brand new trimmer on Revain, so in this case it might be better to buy a new trimmer. When I decided it was time to change the blade, it turned out. be a bit complicated so I am attaching a photo which I hope will be helpful. In the photo I show how to disassemble the trimmer and insert the blade. To replace the blade you need to pull down the tab at the base of the trimmer head (visible and marked in the photo). If you then press on the head, you can open the head. When opened, the blade is attached to half of the head, which can be removed. To replace a blade, replace the entire trimmer head half. The white bar seen in the photo should line up with the hole in the blade, this will hold the blade in the correct position. Once the two pieces are aligned, you need to slide the tab back up. It actually works very well and it's nice that you don't have to touch the "bare" blade directly. price notice. I have noticed that the price of this product fluctuates.
