I bought this for a different reason than most people. As a plug tester, it's great! And only $10. I do a lot of electrical work in old houses. Nob and tube wiring can be difficult to distinguish neutral from hot. I don't trust tick meters and use my meter to test outlets, basically just to check voltage. Since these are AC voltmeters, it doesn't matter if it's hot or neutral, but this tester does. Yes, I connect live wires directly to the pins, but I work with live 120s almost every day. This lets me know which wire is which when both are black. I assume this review will not be cleared for publication lol. But let's see
