It's not what it seems!
I had an hourglass with magnetic sand, it was so nice to look at. So I bought one for my grandson's birthday, when was it open? I felt like an old grandmother who gave you a centennial gift from her closet! The glass is so covered with sand that the rest is not visible! So sorry if you have to give bad reviews, but more sorry I paid for it and gave it away. I felt like the cheapest granny, ugh!
