Nothing wrong with this as a mirror replacement for my 2001 Gold Granny Buick LeSabre. except... LOL The mirror assembly is black plastic which I was aware of, but for the price I was really hoping to just take the innards and put them in a body that still stands on a car that matches my paint job . Unfortunately, Dorman seems to have improved the internals. As said, there is nothing wrong with it, it works great and it seems that it contains a much more advanced mechanism. So be aware that things inside aren't being bartered one at a time into an old housing unit. So they (probably) sell the entire mirror assembly for a really good price and you have to spend more money to paint it to match... It would be really nice if Dorman sold the motor assembly separately to match the OEM mirror housings they could .” He sold it to me for another $20 and kept the apartment.
