This is a quality product for what you are asking for. REASON FOR A STAR: The adhesive mount has a hinge that attaches to the mirror mount. This creates a distracting raised reflection on the back of the mirror. Removed immediately with dental floss and a damp cloth.

I think the manufacturer should pre-install them in every car, especially if they don't have lane departure warning systems. Easy to install and adjust, not sure how long the adhesion will last but so far they've survived and survived a few car washes. Feels safer when changing lanes and lets you stop a little more when changing lanes, a good inexpensive road safety device.

I haven't read anything about that, because a convex mirror is a convex mirror. But you can install it permanently or with the possibility of adjustment. Installed them on the side mirrors of a 2019 Corolla Hatchback SE. That looks great. The product is real glass! I didn't wash the mirrors before applying (laziness) but they still hold up, I've been to the sink before and it's rained a few times since installing. Now I can see what's in my blind spot. I'll still check the head before changing lanes/merging (out of habit) but at least now I can easily check by moving my eyes instead of my head. Looks nice. Works well. It's good.

I doubted the adhesive would hold them in place but was pleasantly surprised that after the summer heat and a few car washes they still work well. These are glass mirrors with an adhesive that sticks them to a plastic 'hinge' which is then glued to the side mirror with another adhesive. It's been about 3 months and I have them on both mirrors with no problems. The hinge is large, giving you a lot of flexibility when placing these mirrors. They offer a wide angle that covers blind spots well.

It comes with 3M tape on the back and has two installation options; one directly on the mirror and the second with a swivel mount. In my case I installed it directly on the mirror.
