Actuators were a direct replacement and I understand this particular model has been redesigned to eliminate common failures. This is an OEM part for the 2004 Acura TL that the dealer wants you to purchase a complete mirror assembly for. This is a cheaper alternative. I ended up swapping both the driver and passenger side and this number fits both sides. Watch the glass removal video, it's pretty easy. You will need a Torx10 screwdriver for the screws. Otherwise it is plug and play. I am very happy with it.

Bought this part because a message on acurazine said it would fit my Acura. It really is. Just pry up the mirror (there are 3 points you use with a flat head screwdriver). Then with T10 unscrew the drive - 3 screws. Disconnect and remove cable. It took about 15 minutes because I was very careful with the mirror. I've attached a photo of me with the new part. He is identical. Once installed, there are no more clicks or hiccups when moving. Side view works great. Worth the $48 paid.
