This product is extremely easy to install even in almost any type of wall as it distributes the weight very well. This works in my opinion in drywall or plaster. I double checked the position by sliding the included bubble level along the wall and started by inserting a nail into the center and then carefully inserting a bubble level from one end. Once I was sure it was even, I carefully added another half dozen. You don't have to use all the included nails! After hanging the TV I found that one side seemed to be slightly higher than the other and I removed the TV and found that I just need to make sure the screws on the back of the TV are positioned correctly. It looks great hanging quite close to the wall depends on the shape of the back of the TV as you can see in the picture. Don't set it too high as there's no repositioning or adjustment for different viewing angles. For example, a deep and low sofa was attached to the wall at a height of about 44 inches from the floor. It's always a good idea to tape off the wall at eye level to see what works for you based on distance and conditions.
