Does not work with ceramic clay (slip) as it cannot dry. The clay he is said to be working with is air-dried artisanal clay that is pressed into a mold and then removed to dry. When I tried the patch it didn't hold its shape - the sides didn't stay straight but warped inwards and the whole shape was warped. .
