Definitely a quick way to add a touch of prestige and a more finished look to the front of the Wrangler and a noticeable improvement over the partially open radiator. I noticed that they definitely have a top and bottom, but they come off so easily that I didn't have a hard time fixing them. I ride A LOT off-road and they haven't come loose yet. While I highly doubt they'll do much to protect my radiator or anything, they're not really for anything other than looks, but I'm sure they'll at least help me feel better - for less contact my front end with small things and helps keep cosmetic damage rather than serious.
