NOT a perfect replacement for your original C3 Li-ion battery

I bought these about 2 months ago as my "assistant" coming home from school this summer couldn't come home. the entire garden with the only original lithium-ion battery that the trimmer came with. So it's my fault for not paying more attention, but these batteries I bought are cheap because they're old nickel cadmium batteries. The description states that these batteries are made of nickel cadmium, but also that they are an ideal replacement for the original C3 batteries. I think that's a bit contradictory. The good thing: they are inexpensive. They are suitable for tools and charger. They work. Cons: They last about half the life of my existing similarly sized 4 year old Li-ion battery (physically). They also lack performance when fully charged and especially under half the capacity of lithium-ion batteries. They are also not counted as "good". I think this is because the charger is designed for lithium batteries. This means that the charge time for these batteries is MUCH longer and I have to "reset" the charger by lifting these batteries up and back into the charger about three times at a time before the indicator light shows them as "charged". to register. on the charger. Since there are two of these, this is at least a 1 day or 2 day practice during the morning and evening classes before and after work. They're also a bit heavier, but since I mostly use them in my string trimmer, that's not a big issue. They do not discharge from a charger or trimmer as well as original lithium-ion batteries. In my opinion if you are in a pinch and need a set of cheap batteries these will do the trick. If you're looking for the performance you got with your original lithium battery, stick with lithium and pay attention to the mAh capacity as that's what makes the difference in terms of run time. These batteries are 2000mAh and I've seen a pair of lithium batteries on the Revain with more than double the capacity for less than double the price. If I bothered to research, I'd spend all day with them about it. But since I have them, I will use them until I have to throw them away (which won't be long based on experience with this type of battery).

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Minor problems
