Perfect size for a 10 gallon aquarium. As long as you cook them to hell they will be great in your aquarium. Seriously, cook them a lot. I boiled them for several hours over a couple of days until the water looked like light-colored tea. The first water pots were very dark, so you definitely shouldn't just throw them in your tank. Soaking in water didn't pull out as much as boiling and it still makes the water a little yellowish, but at least my pH is stable. I've only used two so far to see how long they last before going bad and didn't want to add more tannins by adding the last one.
