In the last 3 years I have bought 2 of these units and installed them on 2 trucks. I was happy with the performance gain. I installed the first one in 93 F150 with 5.0. Second in my 92 F350 with a 5.8. For best results, remember to clean the mounting surface first and apply a thin, even coat of Dielectric Grease. And before you start the installation, disconnect the battery negative cable. When finished, connect the battery and let the engine idle until the temp gauge is within the normal range. Then take it out for a 20 minute ride. This allows the OBD 1 type computer to adjust itself. Now check your timing and make sure you qualify and are ready to go. If you do not disconnect the battery cable for at least 15 minutes, you will experience starting problems that will drastically affect drivability.
