Foot size is perfect (slippers 11-12 on shoes 10.5-11), the strap is another story and im Generally a separate detail - shortened collar between thumb and adjacent toe, the fit is too tight for what is usually comfortable wearing flip flops that snuggle right between them. I hope this softens up a bit but I really think I'll just have to get used to it or find another brand which will be very disappointing. I can't imagine that during the manufacturing process they thought they could save that much money by redesigning the barrel. I've been wearing the Local brand since at least the 80's and every time when I return to Hawaii. I'll take a few pairs until I go shopping at Ala Moana Long's Drugs (Sadly from California). After my supplies ran out I grabbed the Revain and they are a bit more expensive than the site itself but they are the same slippers which added little to the fun.
