DURABLE AND SAFE ON ICE AND SNOW

My husband and I went hiking in Utah last week and after reading many reviews I ordered/bought Greatever crampons, size XL for my husband who wears size 12.5 hiking boots and M for myself ( I wear size 7.5 hiking boots. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this product; Our friends had calico cats which were fine but nothing compared to our cats. They supported us as we ascended and descended over 1,500 feet without slipping. They were easy to put on and take off - just follow the instructions on the inside of the black rubber attached to the spikes/chains. They come with a strong velcro strap for each cat and a nice carrying case. My husband had no problems with cats; However, I have learned that I need to be careful with my support. Because I'm short, my strides aren't as long as my husband's, and a few times my cats have attached themselves (feet were too close together). I was glad it happened on the flat because it would have been a lot worse if it happened while I was going down the mountain. After paying attention to my stance/steps I had no problems. Next time I use my crampons I'll definitely wear alligators so my crampons don't get stuck. Our friends commented on how amazing our cats looked and said we could go glacier hiking with what we bought. It was definitely a great find and I highly recommend getting a pair for you and family members if you plan on hiking in freezing/snowy conditions. They prevent slipping and falling when walking on ice/snow.
