Review on Firesec by Andrew Jenkins

The user interface of firesec is very simple even kids can use it - I would say this feature saves me from needing professional help with my firewall rules everytime! Not much yet but seems like there's some time lag between changes and updates being applied by the software which sometimes results in rules not working as intended. Also, having two separate applications (firewall application as well as management console) makes things difficult if we want to access both at once e.g. when making emergency changes etc. So far pretty good and easy to use. It does provide us with all relevant information regarding our internal networks/devices. I like that it's easy enough so anyone can use fire sec without needing any training or support from us (or even having technical expertise). It also runs well with our other products such as NAC systems which we rely heavily upon daily. There are some minor things about this product but nothing major! We have been able solve many of our security issues using only software instead of hardware devices/firewalls etc..
