I installed this on my 6.0 Powerstroke. The set is complete but poorly finished. There were no instructions in the kit. If you don't understand the concept of installation, this kit may cause trouble for you. When I took the filter head out of the packaging, I noticed that chips could still be seen in the various threaded holes. I thoroughly cleaned and deburred the filter head prior to installation to remove shavings from inside the filter head. The last thing you want to do is add dirt when the filter's job is to remove dirt. At the time I didn't think the filter that came with the kit was of good quality. However, there is no replacement filter number or size listed for the kit. I found the WIX 24070 coolant filter to fit my housing and discarded the filter included in the kit. Installing the kit as it comes out of the box makes installation straightforward. However, if you don't understand how it works or don't take the time to thoroughly clean the parts prior to installation, this can be a problem, so I complicate the installation with extra work and a lack of guidance. In addition, all of the tapered threads were overcut and lacked proper thread engagement, necessitating the use of an excessive amount of sealing tape. The port threads were also not cut concentrically with the pilot holes, resulting in the fittings being screwed in at an angle.
