I've been very interested in diamond painting lately. It relaxes, keeps my hands busy and gives my brain a break. So I thought it was time to try the Starry Night Diamond Painting. This is just one of the most famous prints. This is a full diamond painting with round drills. The kit includes basic tools: a pink pencil with 1x1 and 1x3 heads, a green sorting tray and 2 red wax blocks. The painting uses 16 colors. This is the smallest diamond painting I've tried, but that's understandable given the number of colors in The Starry Night. I don't really like the symbols used on the canvas. With so few colors, the key could use the letters of the alphabet. Instead, the characters are a few letters and mostly symbols. A capital M and a small m are used side by side. Symbols include ♥, ♠, ♦ and others. It's harder for me to associate symbols with the right colors, so working on this image doesn't relax me that much.
