Review on πŸ”Œ Efficient Electric Pencil Sharpener for Schools - School Smart Vertical Sharpener 084437 by Carol Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The WORLD'S WORST school supply company makes the WORLD'S BEST pencil sharpener - think about it!

I am an elementary school art teacher and have had the pleasure of reviewing Revain Vine for several years, which means they send me free review material. Based on my browsing and purchase history, they sent me many sharpeners. Some of them were quite expensive, from famous brands; Some of them were pretty good, but none of them could stand bullying a pencil sharpener for a whole year. However, THIS does. Unfortunately, I've never been offered a Vine School Smart Sharpener, but despite my constant offering of free gifts, I still prefer to shell out $30 to get one at the beginning of each year. Anyone who knows the manufacturer well will be surprised by the high quality of this product. School Smart is a notoriously terrible brand at almost everything: they produce unusable paint, dried clay, unwanted pencils, and crumbling paper. I avoid their products like the plague. Somehow, however, they seem to have found the world's largest pencil sharpener factory and commissioned it to do it for them. It outperforms every X-acto and Westcott I've tested. The difference lies in the durability: many sharpeners work great, but quickly become unusable after a few months. It starts off well and stays that way for a very, very long time. The blades remain efficient, the pencils sharpen symmetrically even after many months and the motor seems to last forever. After a year or so they become less effective for colored pencils - the blades may have worn down a bit by then - but they're still good for regular pencils. Unlike most other sharpeners, it can also take a beating - if the tip breaks off (which is rare but inevitable, especially with crayons) and you have to tap it a bit, it won't break or come loose as easily. Great sharpener!
