Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Lifegard Aquatics Digital Temperature Alert by Debra Brown

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The deviation is not less than 5-7 degrees!

As other reviewers say, the temperature readings vary by at least 5-7 degrees. I have 3 thermometers in my aquarium (1 on the main display, 1 in the tub and 1 in the overflow box) from different manufacturers and they all read about 78 degrees plus or minus 0.5 degrees. This one tells me that the water in my tank is oscillating between 71 and 78 degrees every few seconds! This is actually an outdoor/indoor weather thermometer and poor at best. First, the probe is clearly not designed for use in an aquarium, as it uses a cheap rubber material that quickly corrodes in the water. Secondly, the temperature of the outside air from the sensor in the air deviates by about 3-5 degrees from the readings of the temperature in the room of the same air! The probe's cheap coating significantly impairs its functionality. I will send it back as soon as possible for a refund. waste of money!
